If you are new to GBC, we want you to feel at home and welcome! We have greeters in the back of the sanctuary that will be happy to show you to our nursery if you have a child up to three years of age. They can also help you find the classroom for your child should you arrive in the Sunday School or Morning Service times.
We also want you to know that you can expect help into or out of the building if you are in need of it.
We know that you have many choices when it comes to choosing a church. We are honored that you would choose GBC. We want you to hear a doctrinally sound message that will uplift you, encourage you, and, if necessary, convict you.
WORSHIP
We are a traditional , Independent, Baptist Church therefore you will notice that many of our faithful members and servants dress formally, you are welcome to attend wearing the attire that makes you feel comfortable. We use a the King James Bible but you are welcome to bring the Bible of your choice.
PURPOSE
Our sole purpose is to glorify God. Therefore, we have a sincere desire to preach Bible truth. These truths may be contrary to what the world thinks, but we want you to know what to expect. We preach the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ which is, “ Ye must be born again”. We want to help you get into a discipleship program with the Pastor or one of the leaders of GBC if your a man, or with Mrs. Basso or another woman in leadership if you are a woman.
PROGRAMS
GBC is a smaller church that is looking to grow and magnify God but we NEVER want to lose our “spirit of family” in the church. We are looking to the Lord to expand our ministries to various groups and will do our utmost to personalize our focus to help you in your walk with the Lord.
