Just a Moment, PLEASE!

There comes a time in every person’s life when they consider three important questions.

Question #1: “Who am I?”

Question #2: “Why am I here?”

Question #3: “Where am I going when I die?”

You may have never admitted it verbally or publicly to anyone, but you have thought about these questions. If not, you will! Why? Because human history and archaeology teach us that every civilization has not only asked these questions, but also has spent much time trying to answer them.

Look Around You

We are all getting older. We witness the young getting older every day and the elderly dying. You may not like to think about it, but you can’t deny it. No one does, but it doesn’t prevent these things from happening.

Look in the Mirror

Can you look in the mirror and say with any degree of certainty, “I know where I am going when I die.”

Consider Love

We have all lost people we love. Regardless of the circumstances, one thing is sure, nothing we can do can bring them back. No matter how much we love them, they are gone. This tract is not about our love for those we’ve lost, but about God’s love for you, who is lost.

Don’t Believe Everything You Hear

Has it ever occurred to you that there is only one Book that has shaped the world more than any other? That book is the Bible. We live in a day when most people believe the Bible to be a book of ancient symbols, old wives tales, and doctored history – a Book that has been tampered with and changed over the many years of its existence. You probably believe that too, but have you ever read it? Do you know for sure that it is full of errors? Or do you just believe what you have heard?

The Truth Sometimes Hurts

The truth about the Bible is that it is God’s Word. It’s not a scientific book or a history book or a mathematics book. Although it gives us great proof for science, history, and mathematics, it is a revelation of Love, Grace, Mercy, Holiness, and Forgiveness!

This information may seem strange to you, but it is no less true, regardless of whether or not you believe it! The truth of the Bible was never meant to hurt, but to help and heal every soul that reads it, trusts it, and accepts its contents by faith!

How to be Born Again in Spirit

Accept the Truth about your sin.

Romans 3:10 “As it is written, there is none righteous, no not one” We are all guilty of sin.

Accept that Sinners will be Judged.

Romans 6:23a “For the wages of sin is death” (Separation)

Accept that Jesus paid for your sin penalty.

Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.”

Turn from life without Him to a life with Him. Ask Christ to change you.

Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Acknowledge these things and invite Jesus into your heart and life.

Salvation is a Free Gift – Romans 6:23b “But the Gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ our Lord!” Tell Jesus your desire for that GIFT!

“Dear Jesus,

I admit that I am a Sinner, I know I need to be saved, come into my heart and save me!”

Who am I?

Genesis 2:7 “…and God breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

Regardless of race, color, or creed, we are all eternal souls that will never cease to exist for ETERNITY!

Why am I here?

Revelation 4:11 “Thou are worthy, Oh Lord, to receive glory and honor and power, for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

God has an intention for all men. We were created to glorify God and to fellowship with Him and other people.

Where am I going?

The Bible mentions only two places where men’s souls go after death.

1. Separated from God–Temporarily in Hell (Matt 6:29-30) Eternally in the Lake of Fire

(Rev 21:11-14)

2. Presence of God–Temporarily in Heaven (John 6:47) Eternally in the Newly Created Universe (Rev 21:1)

In Conclusion

The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus died, was buried, and rose again. His blood was shed for you!
